God wants to Bless you!
The Psalms
have been a great en-courage-ment to me. For many of us the first Psalm
we heard or learned was Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not
want..."
Psalm 23 talks about God's provision and protection for his people. So often in today's world we get up and look for the worse, we don't expect God to provide, we expect God to treat us as we expect others to treat us. Our lives become self-professing prophecies as we stand in agreement with the world and the evil one over what our lives should be. Lives filled with sickness, disease, hurt, lack, sadness, emptiness, the list goes on and on.
But my friend, this is not what God has prophesied over your life. He has promised a blessing and not a curse. Too many of us who have been set free by the blood that Jesus shed on the cross are still living like we are under the curse.
Agree with God about who you are and not the people that are in your life, whether they be a husband, or boyfriend, mother or father, or even that voice that resides in your head telling you that you are a nobody.
They are wrong! Listen to what God says about, ask him to tune your mind and heart like the dials on a radio so that you can begin to hear what he wants to say to you.
It does not matter what you've done, he wants to forgive your sins and heal your dis-eases. So many of our diseases begin in the mind, our bodies believe what our minds tell it. Perhaps that is why God tells us so often in the Bible to "rejoice and be glad", "Bless his name".
Take the time to read out loud Psalm 103.
Psalm 103 (The Message)
O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I'll bless his holy name! O my soul, bless God, don't forget a single blessing! He forgives your sins - every one. He heals your diseases - every one. He redeems you from hell (destruction) - saves your life!
He crowns you with love and mercy - a paradise crown. He wraps you in goodness - beauty eternal. He renews your youth - you're always young in his presence. God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet. He showed Moses how he went about his work, opened up his plans to all Israel. God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he's rich in love. He doesn't endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn't treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear him. He knows us inside and out, keeps in mind that we're made of mud. Men and women don't live very long; like wildflowers they spring up and blossom, But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly, leaving nothing to show they were here. God's love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him,

Take the time to read out loud Psalm 103.
- Read it again and ask God to pick out a word he wants you to think about.
- Read it again, listening this time for God's voice, as if God is reading it to you. You can do this by reading the psalm like this "I (God) forgive your sins - everyone. I (God) heals all your diseases - everyone."
- Listen as God speaks to you. Listen for his voice. If you hear another voice in the background telling you it's not true, God will not forgive you, just say out loud "Get behind me Satan, this territory is God's not yours." and go back and begin letting God speak to you.

Making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said. God has set his throne in heaven; he rules over us all. He's the King! So bless God, you angels, ready and able to fly at his bidding, quick to hear and do what he says. Bless God, all you armies of angels, alert to respond to whatever he wills. Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are - everything and everyone made by God.
